Search for pages and commands, send product questions from the signed-in Docs chat input, and run commands with the keyboard.
Find pages and commands
Type a one-word search in the signed-in Docs chat input to find pages and commands. Page suggestions stay visible alongside command matches. Each page row shows its title, an icon for its kind, and an Enter key symbol that highlights when the row is selected.
Find commands by word
To find a command without typing /, enter a one-word term that starts with a word in its label, slash name, or matching words. Click its row to run it; the selection clears. When a page is open, its name and page icon appear in the input tray.
Run a command
In the signed-in Docs chat input, type
/to open the command list.Use the Up and Down arrow keys to highlight a command. The highlight wraps from one end of the list to the other.
Press Enter or Tab to run the highlighted command as a command, not as a question. Pressing Enter also clears the highlight.
A command row shows its description when it has one. New chat and History rows use their own hints; other slash-command rows show the command label. Clicking a command row also runs it and clears the selection.
