## Inspect page sources

A help page’s **Source** view shows its live sections and the citations behind them. Open a citation under **Sources** to read the quoted lines. Code citations identify the repository, path, line range, and pinned commit when available.

1. In a section’s **Sources**, open a citation to read its quoted lines.
2. In the citation, select **Open these lines on GitHub** when it appears to inspect that pinned revision.

- Your product starts here.: Back to the live page, Show this edition, Show changes, See what Cactus takes as true, **Open these lines on GitHub** (1), Retire, Translate conversations, Set up the Messenger

*In the citation, select Open these lines on GitHub when it appears to inspect that pinned revision.*

The Source view also lists writing rules applied to the page and the text each rule was tied to. To manage product writing rules, see [Manage product writing rules](https://cactus.heycactus.ai/writing-rules).
