On heycactus.ai, ask Cactus about Cactus, read its answer and any cited pages, then continue the conversation in Messenger.

### Ask your own question

1. On heycactus.ai, under **Ask Cactus about Cactus.**, select **Ask your own question**.
2. In the field that opens, enter your question and press Enter.

Cactus adds your question to the list and answers it there. If the answer cites pages, expand the source list beneath it to see them. A page title opens its page when a link is available.

Your questions stay available as you move between pages of the site. Reloading clears the list, and Cactus doesn't save your questions.

### Start a question

On larger screens, select **Ask Cactus** in the homepage hero to open Messenger ready for a question.

### Continue a thread

After an answer in the homepage question list, select the option beneath it to continue the same thread in Messenger.

## If an answer fails
